CarmelFest Parade_2005 : Here you will find pictures from the 2005 Edition of the annual Carmelfest 4th of July Parade. This year the parade was a bit smaller, and organized to run a bit faster. A bright, clear sunny day made the event warm, but fun for all.

Indy 500 Festival Parade_2005 : The Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade is held the day before the big race. We found a great spot and got lots of pictures. Look for row-by-row of the drivers, some celebrities, some floats and bands, and a few shots of the crowd.

Indiana State Fair_2006 : I did not take many photos at the State Fair this year. Just a few shots that caught my eye, and most were not keepers.

Fishers Freedom Festival Parade-2005 : The town of Fishers Indiana holds a Freedom Festival every year. This event is normally scheduled for the week before the 4th of July Holiday celebrations.

Tipton Pork Festival and Grand Parade : We had a chance to photograph the Tipton Pork Festival Grand Parade on September 10th, 2005. The conditions were hot and hazy. The people were friendly, the food was great, and we had a really nice time.

Strawberry Festival : June 17th, 2006: St. Christopher's Episcopal Church sponsored a Strawberry Festival at the Carmel Gazebo. The proceeds are used to fund local outreach programs. Strawberry shortcake with ice cream and whipped cream were served to folks who could then consume the treat at tables under the tent. Two members of the musical group "The Young Relics" provided entertainment.

Petco Halloween 2006 : The local Petco store held a Halloween costume contest for pets. Even a pot-bellied pig was entered, and of course won as the most unique. Many winners were recognized in various categories, including Molly the frog-dog. The light was an odd mix of flourescent and daylight, so the color balance of these is a bit off.
