Conga Jazz at Broad Ripple Park : Larry Michael's Conga Jazz performed at Broad Ripple Park on August 23, 2005. The lighting conditions were very poor, and I apologize for the tremendous amount of noise in the resulting pictures. After the first few pictures, all were shot at f/2.8 with the highest ISO setting available. Coverage was for the Broad Ripple Gazette.

UPDATE: On Sept 1, 2005 I was able to catch Conga Jazz at Butler University playing at the REACH sponsored Ethnic Festival. It was nice to have a chance to capture this band with good lighting.

Wright Brothers Band at Carmelfest 2005 : The Wright Brothers Band played at Carmelfest on Sunday night, July 3rd 2005. The band struck an emotional chord with the audience and held that connection through the entire concert.

Rock for Riley on September 5th 2004 : Karl Denson's Tiny Universe played at the Vogue in Broad Ripple on September 5th, 2004. This "Rock for Riley" benefit raised funds for Riley Hospital for Children and thoroughly entertained the capacity crowd.

Subsurface 2004: Aerosol Art : A public event in Broad Ripple, Subsurface 2004 brought together various Aerosol Artists (graffiti painters) from around the country.

Snake Drive: Country Blues (on the Street) : A chance encounter on an unusually warm day in early March led to a few quick snapshots.

Musicians Brian Petersen, Jeremy Sprague, and Alex Puga perform under the name "Snake Drive." They will be competing in the Indy Battle of the Bands later in 2005.
